What do our icons mean?
Prove your age with a Digital ID for 15 & 18 certificate films
A digital ID is a safe way to prove your age using your phone – online and in person. It takes just minutes to create with just an ID document and photo, and then you’re set up for life. Your details are encrypted in your app and only you can see them.
YOTI has been approved by the UK Government as an identity services provider and are working with the large businesses like Instagram, Post Office and Aldi.
Yoti ID, Post Office EasyID and Lloyds Bank Smart ID are also accredited Digital PASS cards.
Please note YOTI is the only recognised Digital ID accepted by cinemas and it is not currently an accepted form of ID for alcohol sales.
How to set up your Digital ID
IMPORTANT: You must set up your Digital ID before visiting the cinema.
Firstly, download the Yoti app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and register by following the instructions on the screen.
You will then need to add your government-approved ID document. Yoti accepts passports, PASS cards, driving licences and national ID cards from 185+ countries.
You will also need to add a photo. This will be the photo displayed on your digital ID.
Once your identity document has been verified your digital ID is ready to use.
How to use your digital ID to prove your age at the cinema:
- Open your digital ID app
- Tap on the ID Card button
- Select to show ‘Age’
- Present card to the staff member
