What information we collect about you
We collect information about you when you purchase your tickets, gift card or Movie Magic discount card, either online or directly with our box offices, as well as all subsequent transactions made using your discount. Some website usage information is also collected using cookies, please see below.
There are items of personal information that are necessary for us to collect to administer and run your order or membership account, and to deal with any enquiries you may have about it. If you have purchased a Movie Magic Card you can review your membership information here
If you are purchasing online, we will require a telephone number in incase we need to contact you regarding your booking, and an email address in order to send you confirmation of your booking or receipt of your Movie Magic discount card.
The information required to meet the requirements of the terms of the Movie Magic card are

- Local Merlin Cinema
We may also ask for optional details such as email address, which can be used to create an online account. We may also contact you in the future with information about your membership and other offers if you choose to opt-in to receive communication.
How we will use the information about you
We collect information about you to process your order, manage your bookings and or membership and, if you agree, to email you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you.
If you join or renew the Movie Magic membership, we will collect the information we need to open, administer and run your account and to deal with any enquiries you may have about it. We will also collect transaction data to help improve our services.
We may use your information collected from the website to personalise your repeat visits to our website.
Merlin Cinemas use trusted third parties to assist with the running of our box office and other services, but we do not share your data otherwise beyond this.
Marketing
